Spiritual Retreat

It is not uncommon for the churches in Brazil to organize spiritual retreats during the Carnival holidays. I believe it is totally programmed with the intention of drawing the people's attention (esp. young people) to something  meaningful rather than waisting their time in events such as the famous Brazilian Carnival.

I was blessed to be invited to go camping with Central Recife SDA Church.

Spiritual Retreat 2009

Last weekend I went with the Faculty of Education and Psychology to the spiritual retreat. We had lots of fun! and the place was really nice!!! It was at a biopark near the campus, where we stayed for 2 days (Saturday and Sunday).

MG Camp

Last weekend I went camping (again) with the MG club. It was great, but it rained a lot. On friday everything was ok and then it started raining at night. Luckily I was sleeping in the car LOL so I didn't get wet at all, but the others.... sorry for them muahaha.
Saturday morning went great -without rain, but then while we were on our sabbath afternoon walk.... OH NO!! it started raining again!!! and this time was DAMN cold!!!! but we still had a great time.
The not-so-good side of this is that I've got a cold :(
